Incarceration ministry is the work of the whole local Church. At Serenelli we do not try to take the entirety of it on ourselves, but we seek to create a stable foundation to support, unite, and coordinate each area of the ministry within a diocese. To maintain the proper relationship with the rest of the local Church, we defer to the local diocese and its ordinary, the bishop, to determine how ministry to state and federal prisons within the diocese should be staffed and led.

If you would like to be part of a prison ministry team, fill out the contact form and indicate which diocese you seek to minister in. We only list those dioceses in which Serenelli is located.
